About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Compliance Officer specializing in Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes. This full-time contract position focuses on addressing complaints by contacting constituents, analyzing issues through state statutes comparison, and advising complainants about jurisdiction and case closure reasons. Compliance Officers provide resources or referrals as needed and document actions in the OnBase system. The estimated base pay for these positions are $28.32 to $33.47 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contacting constituents and complainants to discuss complaint details.
- Reading and interpreting state statutes to analyze issues.
- Communicating effectively with the public.
- Advising complainants of the Division's jurisdiction and providing closure information.
- Providing resources or referrals as appropriate.
- Sending written correspondence to complainants once approved.
- Closing cases by adding appropriate codes and activities in Versa.
- Documenting actions in the OnBase system.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to read and interpret Florida statutes.
- Experience working with the public in a professional environment for a minimum of 3 years.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience using Versa and OnBase systems is highly desired.
- Bachelor's degree is highly desired.
