About the Opportunity:
This fast-paced, part-time contract position offers an opportunity to work in the pre/post interventional radiology department within a level 1 Trauma center. Serving both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan, nurses take part in pre-procedural preparation as well as post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. This position caters to those with a passion for Diagnostic Imaging, managing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasound.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.70 to $61.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery.
- Providing overnight observation care for IR patients.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on advancements in radiology care.
Job Requirements:
- New York RN license.
- 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience.
- 2 years of MED SURG experience.
- Telemetry experience required.
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
