About the Opportunity:
A Patient Services Representative provides a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. This role focuses on comprehensive and personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $19.25 to $22.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival or dismissal.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to policies.
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments.
- Maintain and confirm appointment book; follow up on no shows or cancellations.
- Register patients on sign-in sheet, post charges and payments to accounts.
- Check voicemail daily; maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience answering telephones.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
