About the Opportunity:
We offer a part-time contract opportunity for a Physical Therapist dedicated to evaluating and implementing comprehensive, medically prescribed physical therapy treatments. This role involves providing care to patients within a supervised rehabilitation program. The position requires working Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy assessments and create tailored care plans.
- Provide rehabilitation services according to professional and health-system standards.
- Collaborate with patients and families to establish achievable treatment goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes, using appropriate medical terminology.
- Participate in clinical education of students and supervise their development.
Job Requirements:
- Current NYS Physical Therapist license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
