About the Opportunity:
Provide comprehensive dental care as a Dental Hygienist in a dynamic, team-based environment. Collaborate with the dentist to meet the patient’s oral health needs and ensure high levels of patient care and satisfaction. Engage in diverse clinical duties essential for dental office operations, requiring excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other team members. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided biofilm therapy using GBT equipment as required.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education per state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Order and track inventory as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Current state-issued Dental Hygiene license and CPR certification.
- X-ray training or certification.
- Minimum one year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
