About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Dental Hygienist in Fairfax, VA, providing essential oral health care and education to patients. In this full-time contract position, you participate in clinical duties that support dental office operations while ensuring high levels of patient care and satisfaction. You work collaboratively with dentists and the dental team, enhancing patient experiences through exceptional service and commitment.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Provide oral hygiene treatments and education, following state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies including HIPAA & OSHA standards.
- Maintain inventory and track supplies as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Dental Hygienist License and X-Ray Certifications.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience operating GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
