About the Opportunity:
This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive pediatric care at a respected children's hospital. As an RN in Pediatrics, you manage patient care in both ambulatory/outpatient and inpatient settings. You also handle responsibilities in Pedi PACU, Phase I and II Recovery, and Pre-Post care. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.35 to $63.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct pediatric assessments and create care plans.
- Provide education on treatment plans and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including respiratory and radiology services, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor patient progress and document in the Epic charting system.
- Stay informed on the latest pediatric and trauma care practices.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, PALS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ambulatory/outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Preferred experience in a Level I Trauma Center and PICU.
- Strong skills in pediatric assessments, airway management, and care of ventilated patients.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
