About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant, providing essential rehabilitative care and support to patients. This is a full-time contract position dedicated to assisting patients in achieving their mobility and physical health goals. The role involves working closely with licensed physical therapists to execute treatment plans, document progress, and adjust care strategies as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.40 to $31.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments as directed by the physical therapist and contributing to care plans.
- Providing tailored therapeutic exercises and educational sessions to patients.
- Collaborating with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and outcomes accurately.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum experience in a clinical or hospital setting as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
