About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position involves serving as an Auditing Clerk within the Division of Regulation. The role involves auditing financial documents, performing accounting calculations, and determining the financial stability of companies. Tasks include utilizing computer programs to locate documents, conduct calculations, and enter required information into reporting forms. Work occurs within a professional business environment without contact with the public. Flexible work hours are available Monday through Friday, during standard office hours of 8am to 5pm.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $17.15 to $20.27 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Finance or accounting experience for auditing understanding.
- Previous auditing experience.
- Basic accounting skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Knowledge of GAAP preferred.
- Ability to work independently and critically.
- Experience performing calculations and entering information into Excel.
