About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and provide expert care to patients with critical needs. Your responsibilities include managing complex medical equipment, administering medications, and providing comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for ICU patients.
- Provide critical care, including the use of CRRT and Prismaflex.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using EMR systems like EPIC.
- Stay informed on current ICU practices and technological advancements.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
- RN Licensure verification through NURSYS with an ACTIVE NY License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Experience with CRRT, Prismaflex, and heart-related care preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system required.
- Travel experience necessary.
