About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) providing expert care and life-saving support to critically ill patients. This full-time contract position includes 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, offering an opportunity for professional growth and the ability to float to different units and departments, including ICUs, Emergency Department (ED), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating individualized care plans for ICU patients.
- Providing advanced critical care therapy and patient education.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social services to coordinate care.
- Monitoring, documenting patient progress, and managing complex medical equipment and therapies.
- Staying informed on the latest research and advancements in ICU care.
Job Requirements:
- Valid CA RN License, BSN, AHA BLS, and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, with 2.5 years preferred.
- Preferred experience with NIHSS certification.
- Key skills in communication, organization, and advanced critical care procedures.
- Experience with ICU equipment such as ECMO, IABP, CVVHD/CRRT, and ventilator care.
