About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for a Physical Therapist Assistant. The role involves providing rehabilitation services to patients, under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and enhancement of treatment plans to improve patient mobility and physical function.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $35.75 to $42.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and how to maintain progress.
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state PTA license or certification.
- Minimum one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
