About the Opportunity:
Engage in delivering comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in a supportive environment. This part-time contract position focuses on assisting physical therapists in carrying out treatment plans to enhance mobility, strength, and functional abilities in patients. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.00 to $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapeutic exercises and functional training under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Provide education to patients and families on exercises and mobility strategies.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Minimum of one year experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
