About the Opportunity
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where you provide specialized care to critically ill patients. This full-time contract position requires expertise in managing complex patient conditions and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You monitor, assess, and implement treatment plans specifically in neuro, surgical, and cardiac cases to provide critical care services.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide advanced therapy and critical care services, particularly in cardiac and trauma cases.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Stay informed on advanced critical care techniques and equipment.
Job Requirements
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Active RN license in New York with all relevant licenses verified via NURSYS.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Experience with CRRT, Prismaflex, and heart-related procedures preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC.
