About the Opportunity:
We offer an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA, in a Float Pool role at our Charleston, WV location. You provide anesthesia services to a diverse patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings, handling various surgeries including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, IR, CDL, thoracic, pediatrics, neuro, cardiac, at an endoscopy center. This is a flexible full-time contract position requiring work primarily in Main ORs, predominantly at Memorial.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $156.75 to $185.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting anesthesia assessments and creating pre-operative care plans.
- Providing anesthesia services across various surgical procedures.
- Collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring and documenting patient responses to anesthesia.
- Staying informed on best practices and advancements in anesthesia care.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in West Virginia.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant settings.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
