About the Opportunity:
This Radiation Oncology Physician position involves providing comprehensive care, including new and established patient visits, simulations, and stereotactic coverage. The role is a full-time contract position based in the outpatient setting at Martin North and St. Lucie West in Florida. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with on-call responsibilities one week every four weeks.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $1842.50 to $2177.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting inpatient consults for hospitals and managing call responsibilities.
- Providing comprehensive care and treatment planning using 3D, IMRT, SBRT/SRS techniques.
- Collaborating with another radiation oncologist and interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress with tools like Eclipse, MIM, and Aria.
- Staying informed on radiation oncology advancements and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant certification in radiation oncology.
- License valid in the state of Florida.
- Experience in outpatient settings with typical radiation delivery procedures.
- Strong skills in communication and organization.
