About the Opportunity:
Provide specialized infusion services in the Pediatric Infusion Center, offering care including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. This full-time contract position facilitates a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, without weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. The role requires flexibility to adapt to the Pediatric Infusion Center's changing needs.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for pediatric patients.
- Provide infusion therapy, including chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies.
- Collaborate with pediatric healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress during and after infusion therapies.
- Stay informed on pediatric infusion techniques and research.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License Only).
- Two years of experience in pediatrics.
- BLS certification.
- PEARS certification.
- APHON certification preferred.
