About the Opportunity:
This Radiologic Technologist, Interventional Radiology position in Paramus, NJ involves providing critical interventional radiology services to adult patients. The role includes working in a high-paced environment, conducting specialized imaging procedures, and ensuring proper care and documentation for each patient. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $66.00 to $78.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive imaging assessments during interventional procedures.
- Provide technical assistance and support during radiology procedures.
- Collaborate with interventionalists and radiology team for patient care.
- Monitor and document patient responses and procedure details.
- Stay informed on advancements in interventional radiology practices.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT (R) certification is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are necessary prior to starting.
- New Jersey State Radiography License, with allowance to obtain within 1-2 weeks if not already acquired.
- Minimum one year of experience in interventional radiology.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in specialized procedures such as angiography, stent placements, and embolizations.
- No exemptions allowed for COVID-19 and flu vaccinations with a current booster.
