About the Opportunity:
We seek a skilled OB Registered Nurse to provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, covering high, moderate, and low-risk cases. This is a full-time contract position, operating within a fast-paced labor and delivery environment. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and emphasizes patient and family-centered care. Candidates float among units to adapt to varying needs of volume and acuity in the OB/GYN department.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.15 to $60.45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create personalized care plans for patients.
- Provide direct care during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases.
- Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and efficiently.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in obstetric nursing.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY ONLY).
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery settings.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification.
