About the Opportunity:
The RN, L&D position in Utica, NY focuses on providing comprehensive care within the maternity and labor & delivery unit. This full-time contract role involves delivering care to patients in obstetrics, including ante-partum, intra-partum, post-partum, GYN, and newborn care. The facility includes 18 beds, featuring triage, antepartum, ORs for C-sections, recovery, and L&D beds, with an RN ratio of 1:1 to 2. The role requires flexibility in working variable shifts as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for obstetric patients.
- Provide care to ante-partum, intra-partum, postpartum patients, and newborns.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and other medical professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Epic/Stork system.
- Stay informed on the latest obstetric care and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Current RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in labor and delivery settings.
- Experience with Epic/Stork electronic health records.
