About the Opportunity:
Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) providing moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care. This is a full-time contract position. Responsibilities include intraoperative moderate sedation, circulating when not providing moderate sedation, administering moderate sedation, closely monitoring the patient's cardiac and physical status, and collaborating with the physician to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.10 to $66.30 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct intraoperative moderate sedation.
- Provide care for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care.
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Monitor and document cardiac and physical status of patients.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY).
- Moderate Sedation Experience Required.
- IR Experience Required.
- Two (2) years of experience or experience in a level 1 trauma preferred.
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association ONLY).
- Telemetry.
