About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Operating Room, where you care for a diverse range of patients, including those undergoing CABGs, TAVIs, heart transplants, and heart failure treatments. As an RN Circulator, you independently manage complex adult cardiac cases, including CABGs, structural heart cases, minimally invasive procedures, and heart failure cases. This part-time contract position involves 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, including weekends, holidays, charge, and on-call/callback duties as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans in the Cardiac OR.
- Provide circulatory nursing support for complex cardiac cases.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to surgical procedures.
- Stay informed on the latest practices in cardiac OR nursing.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY).
- Two years of experience as an RN.
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred.
- Able to circulate effectively in the operating room.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
