About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Resource Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Behavioral Health unit, providing specialized care for pediatric and adolescent patients aged 5 to 21. This full-time contract position involves offering assessments, triage, medication support, crisis intervention, and patient/family education in an outpatient setting.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.50 to $45.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and behavioral crises.
- Provide medication support and perform crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Document patient progress and provide patient/family education.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in pediatric behavioral health.
Job Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Must have 2 years of pediatric psychiatric experience.
- 6 months of travel experience preferred.
- Strong de-escalation skills required.
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Epic.
