About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for an MRI Tech based in Durham, NC. The role involves providing MRI services to patients. Responsibilities include operating GE and Siemens equipment, preparing and administering contrast media, and ensuring patient safety. Working hours are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm and Monday from 12 pm to 12 am.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI procedures using GE and Siemens equipment.
- Provide accurate imaging and safety assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and any reactions to contrast media.
- Stay informed on MRI technology advancements and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT R certification and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI settings.
- Experience with both GE and Siemens MRI equipment required.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and patient care.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
