About the Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist professionals work in a specialized oncology environment providing PET imaging at the Staten Island outpatient clinic. The position operates on a full-time contract basis with a consistent weekday schedule. Professionals engage with a low daily patient volume in a supportive work environment.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting PET scans as primary procedures.
- Providing patient education and support during imaging processes.
- Collaborating with radiology professionals for coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient imaging results and overall progress.
- Staying informed on the latest developments in PET imaging techniques.
Job Requirements:
- New York State Department of Health License.
- NMTCB Certification.
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
- PET imaging experience.
- Experience with venipuncture and IV maintenance.
- Skills in safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials.
