About the Opportunity:
A Nuclear Medical Technician provides specialized care and performs nuclear medicine procedures for patients. This full-time contract position involves 8-hour day shifts, with start times that may vary.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $74.25 to $87.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) finalize at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting nuclear imaging procedures and creating care plans.
- Providing patient care and educational information related to nuclear medicine.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including radiology and respiratory services, to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using the Epic charting system.
- Staying informed on the latest nuclear medicine technologies and research findings.
Job Requirements:
- CTNM: NMTCB or ARRT (N) and CA Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine license.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine settings.
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Training program.
- ACLS and CT license preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent credentials preferred.
- Proficiency in a variety of nuclear imaging techniques and equipment, including Philips and Siemens machinery.
