About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position invites a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) services to patients. This role involves caring for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and executing both scrub and circulate duties during surgery. The RN addresses patients' needs through meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high standards of care. Shift includes 8-hour day shifts with weekend and on-call commitments (1 weekend call per month and 2 calls per week when working).
The estimated base pay for these positions are $65.45 to $77.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create tailored care plans for CVOR patients.
- Provide support and education to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the procedure.
- Stay informed on current practices and advancements in cardiovascular surgery.
Job Requirements:
- Active RN license; Pennsylvania is a compact license state.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of strong cardiac team experience.
- Experience in both scrub and circulate roles is essential.
- Fingerprinting required.
