About the Opportunity
This contract position offers an opportunity for a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesiology services in a float pool. The role requires the ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple locations, with a primary focus on Moses Cone as the main location. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia for a wide range of procedures in 20 operating rooms and 5 NORA locations. This is a full-time and part-time contract position. Providers must be able to float across different departments and manage patients of all ages, performing cases such as general surgery, orthopedics, and neurosurgery.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $154.00 to $182.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-operative assessments and creating anesthesia care plans.
- Providing anesthesia during surgical and medical procedures.
- Collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring patient vitals and progress during procedures.
- Staying informed on the latest anesthesiology practices and technologies.
Job Requirements
- Board Certification as a CRNA.
- State of North Carolina license required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in anesthesia settings (No new graduates).
- Certification in ACLS & PALS.
