About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing emergency care to newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a dynamic Emergency Department setting. Responsibilities include managing patient diagnosis such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Successful candidates exhibit high charge capability and adaptability due to required floating.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients in the Emergency Department.
- Provide pediatric and adult emergency care, including managing severe diagnoses.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress diligently.
- Stay informed on cutting-edge emergency care practices and research.
Job Requirements:
- Active NY RN license and all RN licenses verified via NURSYS Report.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric exposure.
- Travel nursing experience required; EPIC EMR experience necessary.
- High capability in charge roles preferred; adaptability to unit-specific needs.
