About the Opportunity:
This registered nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Department (ED) involves providing expert care to patients across all age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The RN is responsible for managing cases such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction (MI), cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for emergency patients.
- Provide advanced life support techniques and critical care interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay informed on the latest emergency care practices and technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
- Active NY RN license and all other applicable RN licenses.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ED setting with pediatric experience.
- Travel experience and charge capability highly preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC.
