About the Opportunity:
Emergency Department RNs provide critical care to patients facing urgent medical conditions. This full-time contract position involves delivering professional nursing care, performing assessments, and developing care plans in a fast-paced ER environment from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., for 36 hours weekly over a span of 6 weeks.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.15 to $60.45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create customized care plans in the ER.
- Provide specific types of acute medical and supportive care to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in emergency care practices.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency room settings.
- Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
