About the Opportunity:
This Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Department involves providing critical care and support to patients in urgent medical situations. As part of the emergency response team, this full-time contract position involves assessing patient conditions, implementing effective care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality emergency care services.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $51.43 to $60.78 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and creating immediate care plans.
- Providing trauma and critical care therapies.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and accurately documenting patient progress during shift hours.
- Staying informed on emergency medicine practices and updated protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Current Active NY RN License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department with Pediatric and documented travel experience.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certification required.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- Driver's license with matching address demographics, NURSYS report, and license verification required.
