About the Opportunity:
Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in San Francisco, CA. This position involves providing critical care to patients with a variety of complex conditions, including cardiovascular, neuro, and respiratory issues. The role demands adaptability, as nurses float to various units including ICU, ED, and PACU. This is a full-time contract position with rotating 12-hour day/night shifts.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for critical care patients.
- Provide specialized therapy and education for patients with severe conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress with attention to detail.
- Stay informed on latest ICU practices and research.
Job Requirements:
- Current California RN License.
- BSN and AHA BLS, ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
- Preferred 2.5 years of ICU experience with NIHSS certification.
- Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, PA Catheters, and Epic charting system preferred.
- Required trauma level II and teaching hospital experience.
