About the Opportunity:
This Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA position involves providing anesthesia care to adult patients in a care team model. The role includes collaboration with an experienced team of 18 CRNAs and 5 anesthesiologists, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia delivery across approximately 30 cases per day. This is a full-time contract position with coverage consisting of 4x 10-hour shifts per week, ensuring no call responsibilities.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $179.85 to $212.55 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating anesthesia care plans for adult patients.
- Providing general adult anesthesia, obstetrical anesthesia, and pain management care.
- Collaborating with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using the Epic EMR system.
- Staying informed on best practices in anesthesia and patient management.
Job Requirements:
- Current NBCRNA certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in anesthesia delivery.
- State of South Carolina license required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficiency in ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic.
