About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract opportunity for a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at a community hospital. The role involves providing anesthesia care to patients aged 12 and older, including managing general anesthesia, spines, ventilation, and arterial line placement. The position focuses primarily on orthopedic, spinal, gynecology, ophthalmic, plastic surgeries, and general OR cases. Participation in out-of-OR cases such as GI, CV/TEE, and MRI coverage may also be included. The position operates Monday through Friday with 10-hour shifts from 7 am to 5 pm.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $179.85 to $212.55 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and developing anesthesia care plans.
- Providing anesthesia for general, spine, and special procedures.
- Collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress throughout the anesthesia care process.
- Staying informed on current practices and research in anesthesia.
Job Requirements:
- Current NBCRNA certification.
- Active SC License.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA.
- Clean background check.
