About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Warehouseman in a critical non-clinical capacity. In this full-time contract position, the Warehouseman conducts operations within the Central Sterile Processing Department. Responsibilities include organizing, stocking, and rotating instruments, as well as transporting sterile and contaminated instruments according to designated procedures. The position involves no supervisory duties but requires operating mechanical equipment and maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas. The work schedule includes overnight shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organizes and restocks workstations.
- Operates mechanical decontamination equipment.
- Organizes, stores, and rotates trays and containers.
- Organizes, stores, and rotates sterile instruments and procedure packs.
- Transports case carts to user areas and returns used carts using a pony.
- Assists in case cart preparation according to procedure.
- Maintains the cleanliness of motorized pony carts, trailers, and work area.
- Utilizes precautionary procedures when transporting instruments.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of healthcare or customer service related experience.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items.
- Obtain Pony driver's license within three months of hire and maintain it.
- Government-issued driver's license required.
