About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing compassionate patient care and assistance with daily living activities as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role includes working closely with patients to understand their needs, administering medication, and supporting registered nurses and physicians in delivering effective healthcare services.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $27.23 to $32.18 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating care plans in coordination with healthcare teams.
- Providing medication administration and therapy as guided by healthcare directives.
- Collaborating with registered nurses and physicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Staying informed on nursing best practices and new healthcare regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Current LPN license in the state of Maine.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
