About the Opportunity:
An Equipment Tech position is available in New York, NY. This full-time contract position involves executing routine tasks to maintain cleanliness and neatness in assigned patient areas following established procedures. The role requires transporting and managing supplies and equipment, responding to inquiries professionally, and ensuring a sanitary environment. Role duties also include receiving deliveries for supply replenishment, maintaining logs, and handling cleaning and transport tasks as required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $24.20 to $28.60 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a sanitary patient area and neat conditions following established procedures.
- Greet patients and visitors courteously and provide information as needed.
- Transport supplies and equipment in accordance with procedures and infection control guidelines.
- Receive and organize deliveries, maintain supply logs, and coordinate equipment repair.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and clean equipment and designated areas.
- Conduct other job-related duties as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directives.
- Prior experience in Central Sterile environments.
