About the Opportunity:
As a Nuclear Medical Technician, you provide comprehensive nuclear medicine services, including conducting diagnostic imaging procedures and patient assessments. You collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostics and quality patient care. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $62.15 to $73.45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic nuclear medicine assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing accurate and quality imaging services.
- Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and procedure outcomes.
- Staying informed on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and care practices.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB).
- Licensure by the NYS DOH.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine settings preferred.
- Preferred experience with charting systems, particularly Epic.
- Key skills include communication, organization, and proficiency with nuclear medicine procedures.
