About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position in Family Medicine focuses on assessing newborns in the hospital immediately after birth. The role excludes obstetric-focused medical or surgical care before, during, or after pregnancy. Care and assessment are provided to newborns, not the mother, in both hospital and clinic settings.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $111.29 to $131.53 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for newborns in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in both newborn and geriatric demographics.
- Stay informed on current practices in neonatal and family medicine.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO or APC in Family Medicine.
- Active Oregon medical license required.
- BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- 1 year of EPIC experience essential.
- Case logs or training documentation of family medicine services within the last 24 months.
