About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a qualified Physician to provide comprehensive gastroenterology services at a hospital setting. This full-time contract position involves managing patient care both in inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting gastroenterology procedures including ERCP, and collaborating with a team of GI specialists. The physician participates in 24-hour call duties and operates both within the clinic and the hospital with varied daily census responsibilities.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $3078.57 to $3638.31 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create care plans for gastroenterology patients.
- Provide specialized gastroenterology procedures, including ERCP and endoscopies.
- Collaborate with GI team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and care plans to interdisciplinary teams.
- Stay informed on gastroenterology research and best practice guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology with valid certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross for ACLS.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Experience with EPIC EMR and Provation GI software preferred.
- Documented clinical activity in gastroenterology within the last 24 months, including ERCP procedures.
- Washington license preferred, but IMLC applicants are accepted.
