About the Opportunity:
The healthcare facility offers an exciting contract position for a skilled EP Cardiologist. The role involves providing both inpatient and outpatient care, including performing EP procedures, interpreting EKGs, and conducting inpatient consultations. The cardiologist splits time between clinic and hospital settings, practicing in a state-of-the-art EP lab with advanced equipment like Carto and Abbott EnSite. This is a full-time contract position, running from Monday to Friday, with no call duties.
The estimated base pay for this position is $2475.00 to $2925.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct EP studies, catheter ablation, cardioversion, and implantation of cardiac devices.
- Provide outpatient clinic services two days a week, managing approximately 14 patients per shift.
- Collaborate with an APP for inpatient support to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and treatment plans using Epic EMR.
- Stay informed on advancements in electrophysiology and cardiology research.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Ability to perform all EP procedures.
