About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing comprehensive gastroenterology care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, performing gastroenterology procedures such as ERCP, and rounding on patients both in clinic and hospital environments. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $3500.75 to $4137.25 per day. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for gastroenterology patients.
- Provide patient care through both clinic sessions and inpatient hospital rounds.
- Collaborate with other gastroenterologists and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and procedures performed.
- Stay informed on current research and practices in Gastroenterology.
Job Requirements:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology, ACLS Certification required.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Prefer candidates with experience using Epic EMR and Provation GI software.
- Proven track record of completing at least 50 successful ERCP procedures in the past two years.
