About the Opportunity:
The Physical Therapist Assistant position involves providing therapeutic interventions to patients in a nursing home setting. This is a full-time contract position with shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role requires collaboration with physical therapists to execute care plans and monitor patient progress.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $25.58 to $30.23 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapeutic interventions and assist in implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to develop effective treatment strategies.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
- Stay informed on best practices in physical therapy care.
Job Requirements:
- New York Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- BLS certification.
- Prior experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
