About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position involves providing specialized radiation oncology services to patients aged 18 and above at a Cancer Center. The physician conducts 3 new consultations daily and manages patients receiving radiation therapy, approximately 18-25 on Tuesdays. The role includes collaboration with support staff such as rad techs, APPs, and RNs to deliver patient care. EMR system used is Cerner and HDR skills are required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $233.75 to $276.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating radiation oncology care plans.
- Providing radiation therapy and patient education.
- Collaborating with rad techs, APPs, and RNs to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on research and practices in radiation oncology.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology required.
- State license required, completed through accredited education program.
- DEA registration required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
