About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract opportunity involves providing comprehensive patient care as a Patient Care Technician. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. The role demands adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with the healthcare team. It entails a schedule of Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:15 AM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $28.05 to $33.15 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting vital sign assessments and maintaining records.
- Providing support for patient hygiene and mobility needs.
- Collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Utilizing equipment such as glucometers and electronic vital sign machines.
- Staying informed on infection control protocols and safety procedures.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of experience as a Nursing Attendant.
- Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Associate training program.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
