About the Opportunity:
The Pediatric Endocrinologist position at Children's Village in Long Beach involves covering a week at a time, including half a day of clinic, rounding in the hospital, and being available for weeknight and weekend call coverage. This is a part-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $169.81 to $200.69 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and managing insulin pump therapy.
- Providing continuous glucose monitoring management.
- Supervising the infusion center for endocrine tests.
- Collaborating with ER, NICU, PICU, and inpatient hospitalists.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using Epic EMR.
Job Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology.
- Active California medical license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- Clean background and malpractice record required.
- Local candidates highly preferred.
