Program Director

About the Opportunity

An established community center dedicated to providing excellent social services to underprivileged communities throughout the boroughs of New York City is seeking a Program Director for their Intensive Mobile Treatment program in Manhattan. The Program Director will be responsible for offering both administrative and clinical supervision for the IMT Team’s program operations.

The base pay range for this position is $42 to $46 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise the provision of clinical care, emphasizing the delivery of top-tier quality services
  • Manage program operations to guarantee compliance with regulations and guidelines
  • Direct the assessment and assignment processes for new clients
  • Retain control over utilization review, incident management, and outcome monitoring to enhance quality improvement efforts
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide clinical supervision, assess their performance, and discuss the progress of their clients
  • Offer guidance on matters related to client care and agency policies and organize training sessions as required
  • Conduct assessments of clients and develop treatment goals tailored to their needs
  • Support clients in engaging with entitlement programs, psychiatric services, medication management, rehabilitation, and various other activities

 

Job Requirements

  • Master of Social Work or related field required
  • Valid New York LCSW license or LMHC license required
  • SIFI (Seminar In Field Instruction) Certification preferred
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting
  • IMT Team experience preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with histories of substance abuse, mental illness, homelessness and trauma required
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred
