About the Opportunity:
This contract position for a CT Technologist provides critical diagnostic imaging services to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role involves performing CT scans, preparing and administering contrast media, and ensuring radiation safety. This is a full-time contract position with shifts from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on weekdays, including alternate weekends.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create care plans for imaging services.
- Provide CT imaging and preparation of contrast materials.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support including respiratory and social services.
- Monitor and document patient progress in imaging and treatment.
- Stay informed on diagnostic imaging and technology advancements.
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED and graduation from an accredited Radiography program.
- New York State licensure in Radiography and certification to inject contrast media.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
- Maintains continuing education credits as required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in CT imaging preferred.
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software.
