About the Opportunity:
As a CT Technologist, you provide diagnostic imaging services to patients at our facility. This part-time contract position involves working evening shifts from 4:00p-12:00a on weekdays, with alternating weekends. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate imaging and patient care, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology. You administer and prepare contrast media, and assist with procedures requiring CT guidance. You maintain compliance with radiation safety guidelines and ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging assessments and create care plans.
- Provide assistance with specific types of CT procedures and education on imaging preparations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize imaging results.
- Monitor and document patient progress and safety throughout imaging procedures.
- Stay informed on advancements in CT technology and imaging best practices.
Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED and graduation from an accredited Radiography program.
- New York State licensure in Radiography with certification to inject contrast media.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography & Computed Tomography.
- Maintains continuing education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in recent, relevant CT imaging.
- Proficiency in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software.
- Experience in diagnostic imaging and radiation safety.
