About the Opportunity:
This contract position for a CT Technologist involves performing diagnostic imaging services to patients. Responsibilities include confirming patient identity, verifying exams, and adhering to safety protocols. Technologists coordinate with physicians, prepare patients for procedures, and operate diagnostic equipment efficiently. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient identity confirmations and exam verifications before scans.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring patient safety.
- Insert IVs for necessary procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and proper documentation within EPIC.
- Ensure a clean and safe scanning facility.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of formal training at an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- NYS Radiologic Technologist licensure (must obtain prior to starting position).
- Two years of experience in CT technology.
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Patient and compassionate disposition.
