About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract Medical Assistant position in the Electrophysiology specialty at a clinic setting. The role includes assisting physicians and advanced practice providers with clinic patients, handling inbox tasks, and managing 30-minute patient visits. Shift options involve working either a 5-8 hour schedule or a 4-10 hour schedule, with no call responsibilities. Up to 16 patients are seen per shift, depending on hours. The estimated base pay for these positions are $99.00 to $117.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and document patient visits.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as RN/LPN and physicians for coordinated care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using EPIC EMR.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant certification such as CNP, PA, or CNS.
- Experience in outpatient clinic settings preferred.
- Proficient in patient care practices and communication skills.
- Compact or Ohio license required.
