About the Opportunity:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist position involves conducting interventional radiologic procedures and evaluations in a float pool capacity. Responsibilities include patient rounds, conducting joint aspirations, vascular ultrasound (excluding venous and carotids), thyroid biopsies, CTA peripherals, lumbar punctures, specialty consults, and a variety of doppler studies. It also covers detailed interventional service coverage requirements, including after-hours and holiday call duties. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $3300.00 to $3900.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient rounds and provide specialty consults as requested.
- Perform joint aspirations, thyroid biopsies, and lumbar punctures.
- Conduct vascular ultrasound and various doppler studies.
- Coordinate interventional radiology procedures with attending physicians.
- Interpret and document results of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
