About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position as a Certified Pharmacy Technician focuses on supporting pharmacy operations and providing exceptional customer service. The CPhT performs medication dispensing duties, ensures accurate inventory management, and assists the pharmacist with daily tasks. The role also includes floating as needed within different locations such as Brooklyn and Queens.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $15.95 to $18.85 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication dispensing and labeling under pharmacist supervision.
- Provide customer service and respond to patient inquiries.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory and supply orders.
- Stay informed on pharmacy best practices and industry standards.
Job Requirements:
- Valid CPhT certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
