About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing therapy rehab care to inpatient adults and seniors at a facility in San Francisco, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you provide treatment in an acute rehabilitation inpatient setting, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery of patients with a range of diagnoses including orthopedic, cardiac, neurologic, and general med/surg. You work a scheduled shift from Tuesday to Saturday, with a mandatory requirement to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.80 to $62.40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create personalized care plans for rehabilitation.
- Provide therapy and education to patients, focusing on their unique recovery needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Stay informed on best practices and developments in therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA Occupational Therapist License and AHA BLS certification.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in an adult rehabilitation facility.
- Preferred: Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster, with proof required.
- Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
