About the Opportunity:
Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Hygienist in Chandler, AZ. The role involves providing exceptional oral health care in a supportive, friendly environment. This is a part-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $18.15 to $21.45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
- Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
- Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
- Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
- Support the hygienist with patient scheduling, treatment recommendations, and office recall systems.
- Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- X-Ray certification.
- CPR certification.
- Candidates must have at least six months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Hygiene Assistant or in a Dental Assistant Internship.
